S.A.M.Y.'s ALPACA FARM & FIBRE STUDIO

S.A.M.Y.’s Alpaca Farm & Fibre Studio is a family business located north of Strathroy in South Western Ontario, Canada. We enjoy spending time with these beautiful gentle animals and share our passion with our guests.

 

We raise alpacas for their hair (fibre). Once a year we shear them and send the fibre to a mill which will process our fibre into yarns, felts, and bats.

 

As soon as we get our processed fibre back, we create knitwear, felt products, and many other alpaca products in our studio.

 

Please note – we do not sell alpacas and do not eat alpacas. At least half of our alpacas in our herd are rehomed or rescued and found their forever home.
